Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Assistance:
- Assist faculty members in the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in biochemistry.
- Conduct laboratory sessions, including preparing reagents, demonstrating techniques, and supervising student experiments.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials such as practical manuals and presentations.
- Provide academic support to students during laboratory sessions and tutorials.
Laboratory Management:
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the biochemistry laboratory.
- Assist in the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Ensure the proper functioning and safety of laboratory equipment.
Research Support:
- Assist faculty members in research projects as required, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of research reports.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in administrative tasks related to the department, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:
- MBBS or a closely related field.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a teaching or research laboratory setting is preferred.
Skills:
- Laboratory Skills: Proficiency in basic biochemical techniques (e.g., spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, chromatography).
- Teaching & Communication: Ability to effectively communicate scientific information to students, provide clear instructions, and answer student questions.
- Organizational & Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot laboratory issues and find solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with faculty and staff.
- Safety Awareness: Adherence to laboratory safety regulations and the use of appropriate safety equipment.
