SQA Trainee

This platform improves efficiency for consumers, carriers, brokers, and call centers by automating complex Medicare processes, enhancing member satisfaction and retention. Currently, Contour Software is seeking three interns or recent graduates to join the resource-center team in Karachi. Selected candidates will receive training and apprenticeship opportunities with the potential to transition into full-time roles, working closely with the onshore R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in training and apprenticeship programs to develop software development skills.
- Support the resource-center team in software development and quality assurance tasks.
- Assist in writing and executing SQL queries and contribute to application testing.
- Analyze system components to identify weaknesses and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to report progress and issues.

Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Computer Science or Software Engineering are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and software quality assurance/testing concepts.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming principles is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL query writing and execution.
- Awareness of different application types and architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
