We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight forwarding sales and a passion for delivering exceptional logistics solutions. This role involves driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring tailored solutions that align with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify, target, and secure new clients in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and emerging industry trends.
  • Prepare and present customized sales proposals to prospective clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Sales Strategy Execution:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to identify new opportunities.

Solution Selling:

  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to design and propose tailored freight solutions, including customs clearance, vessel chartering, and project handling.
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient solutions to meet customer supply chain needs.

 Reporting and Analytics:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Proven expertise in selling services such as customs clearance, stevedoring, vessel chartering, and supply chain solutions.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

 Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with the fast-paced nature of the shipping and logistics industry.

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
