The Tech Assist team at Macquarie serves as the frontline support for technical issues involving laptops, voice systems, and computer hardware. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to account setup, devices, and network configurations.
- Monitor and resolve computer system issues within established timeframes, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide on-site audiovisual (AV) support during events and meetings, ensuring seamless technical operations.

Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience in IT desktop support with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Practical experience working with both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver presentations.
- Solid knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices (iOS), and related technology products.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with remote desktop tools and IT help desk software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory. Relevant certifications in these areas are advantageous.
