Technical Project Manager (Female SQA Background)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Software Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will have previously served as a Senior SQA Manager and currently lead teams consisting of both Manual and Automation QA Engineers. This role involves overseeing project planning, prioritizing tasks, ensuring quality delivery, and facilitating collaboration between QA and development teams. The primary objective is to guarantee that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards within agreed timelines. The position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite presence from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with the flexibility to work remotely during other hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QA teams, including manual and automation engineers, across multiple projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as development, DevOps, and business analysts to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and progress review meetings.
- Track and analyze quality metrics, ensuring timely delivery of test plans, test cases, and detailed reports.
- Maintain effective communication between onsite and remote team members within the hybrid work framework.
- Identify risks and potential bottlenecks early, proactively resolving issues to prevent project delays.
- Provide transparent and regular updates on project status and deliverables to stakeholders and senior management.
- Promote a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement within the QA teams.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior SQA Manager or QA Lead with a transition into project management responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, covering both manual and automated testing.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and CI/CD environments.
- Experience managing and delivering QA projects involving hybrid teams.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or ISTQB are considered a plus.
