DSV is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting the preparation and management of quotations and tender requests. This role requires close collaboration with global and local pricing teams to secure competitive rates while ensuring strict compliance with customer SOPs, tender guidelines, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost breakdowns and margin calculations, contributing to profitable and competitive bid submissions. The position demands effective coordination with internal stakeholders and product teams to gather operational information, as well as diligent tracking and updating of tender pipelines and RFQ status reports. Managing multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process incoming quotations and tender requests accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with global and local pricing teams to obtain competitive rates.
- Ensure adherence to Customer SOPs, tender guidelines, and compliance requirements throughout the quote and tender preparation process.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and margin calculations to support competitive and profitable submissions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and product teams to collect necessary operational data.
- Track and update tender pipelines, RFQ status reports, and maintain comprehensive tender records.
- Manage large volumes of data with precision and handle multiple RFQs and tenders simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within Tender Desk, Pricing, or Freight Forwarding environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess product profitability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
