Dispatch Coordination: Oversee and manage the scheduling and dispatching of trucks to ensure timely deliveries and efficient route planning.
Load Management: Assign loads to drivers based on capacity, route, and delivery deadlines while ensuring optimal utilization of trucks.
Driver Supervision: Monitor driver activities, provide instructions, and resolve on-ground operational challenges to maintain smooth dispatch operations.
Tracking & Monitoring: Use GPS and tracking systems to monitor vehicle locations, delivery progress, and potential delays.
Communication & Coordination: Serve as a bridge between drivers, customers, and management, ensuring seamless information flow and issue resolution.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all dispatch records, trip logs, and transportation documents are accurately maintained and comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Problem-Solving: Address unforeseen issues such as vehicle breakdowns, route changes, or delays and provide quick solutions to minimize disruptions.
Safety & Regulations: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including vehicle inspections, driver compliance, and adherence to transportation laws.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate driver performance, efficiency, and adherence to schedules, providing feedback for improvement.
Customer Service: Ensure timely and efficient deliveries while handling customer inquiries and resolving delivery-related concerns.
