Civil / Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled structural engineer with expertise in estimation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, and analyzing structural systems and translate them estimations of various types of buildings, including but not limited to wood, concrete and steel structures . They will also be expected to work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyse structural systems using various materials, both load bearing and non-load bearing.
Develop and review construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge is steel joists will be a plus
Collaborate with project teams to ensure that projects meet design requirements and are completed on schedule.
Analyse and provide materials estimations to management.
Prepare technical reports and other project documentation as required.
Participate in construction meetings as necessary.
Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to steel joists and structural engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on steel materials & structures.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Strong knowledge of steel joist design, analysis, and detailing.
Experience using structural analysis software such as RISA or SAP2000.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
A focus on steel joists.
