We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer who can independently design, develop, and optimize SEO-focused WordPress websites. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possesses a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, and excels in creating responsive, high-performance websites that rank well on search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently design and develop SEO-optimized WordPress websites from scratch.
Customize WordPress themes using Elementor, WP Bakery, and Gutenberg.
Implement WooCommerce for eCommerce projects and ensure smooth payment gateway integration.
Ensure all websites are mobile-responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-compliant.
Conduct technical SEO, on-page SEO, and optimize site architecture for better rankings.
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues, including plugins, themes, and server-related problems.
Set up and optimize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Manage backups, updates, and security measures to protect websites.
Collaborate with content writers and marketing teams to implement SEO strategies.
Optimize website speed using caching techniques, image optimization, and script minimization.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in WordPress development (Front-end and Back-end).
Proven experience with Elementor, WP Bakery, Gutenberg, and WooCommerce.
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Expertise in SEO optimization, Google Core Web Vitals, and best practices for ranking.
Familiarity with tools like Rank Math, Yoast SEO, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
Knowledge of CDN configurations, caching plugins (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache), and site speed optimization.
Ability to create custom themes and plugins as needed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Make (Integromat) and Zapier for process automation.
Experience with multilingual websites and multi-site configurations.
Familiarity with cloud hosting (e.g., DigitalOcean, AWS, Cloudways).
Understanding of REST API and third-party API integrations.
Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
