The UPS Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of UPS systems across multiple client sites. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining UPS units, batteries, inverters, and related electrical components. The technician will collaborate closely with senior technical staff and support teams to deliver efficient and timely services, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with UPS technologies are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission UPS systems at client locations, verifying correct setup and operational functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and load testing on UPS units and battery banks to prevent unexpected failures.
- Accurately diagnose faults, repair or replace defective parts, and resolve technical issues promptly to reduce service interruptions.
- Respond to emergency service requests and provide on-site technical assistance as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures rigorously during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate service documentation, reporting technical problems to senior engineers or management.
- Coordinate with support teams to order necessary spare parts and track job progress until completion.
- Deliver basic operational training to customers post-installation or maintenance to ensure correct usage of UPS systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical or Electronics, or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience: Between 2 to 4 years of practical experience working with UPS systems, including exposure to both online and offline UPS technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling inverters, battery banks, Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR), and power distribution systems. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals is essential. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other testing equipment.
- Additional Skills: Strong communication skills, effective customer service abilities, and good time management are necessary to manage fieldwork and client interactions successfully.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based in Islamabad, with the majority of work conducted at client sites and in the field. The role requires regional travel to attend service calls and support client requirements. Candidates must be willing to work on-site across various locations within Islamabad and its surrounding areas. The monthly salary range for this position is Rs70,000 to Rs90,000.
