Duties & Responsibilities
A. Social Media Manager Responsibilities 1. Platform Oversight
Manage and maintain Legends Academy’s official presence on:
TikTok
Ensure all platforms remain active, relevant, and aligned with the academy’s tone, brand voice, and visual identity.
2. Story Content Execution
Upload daily stories across platforms, including:
Live match updates
Training snapshots
Behind-the-scenes content
Coaching Education snapshots
Promotions and announcements
Ensure high-quality visuals and timely uploads during events, matches, and special campaigns.
3. Page Moderation & Cleanliness
Ensure pages are free from spam, misinformation, or inappropriate content.
Maintain highlights and pinned stories aligned with current campaigns or term updates.
B. Content Strategy & Ideation 1. Content Planning
Collaborate with the Marketing Head to create and execute a monthly and termly social media content strategy, with emphasis on:
Daily engagement
Seasonal promotions (e.g., new programmes, tours)
Player or coach spotlights
Event hype and post-coverage
2. Content Ideation
Generate fresh, relevant content ideas specific to our audience demographics, including:
Polls, quizzes, and story engagement tools
Topical reels or trends tailored to our football ecosystem
Simple value-based tips or academy culture highlights
C. Community Management 1. Customer Service via Social Media
Respond to DMs and comments across all platforms within 12–24 hours.
Answer inquiries related to programmes, schedules, registrations, and events.
Tag relevant internal team members if escalation or technical details are required.
2. Audience Engagement
Promptly acknowledge mentions and tags.
Initiate interactions through story replies, shout-outs, or follow-backs where appropriate to build community goodwill.
D. Analytics & Performance Reporting 1. Page Analytics Review
Track and report weekly/monthly data on:
Follower growth
Story views
Engagement rates
Top-performing posts/reels
2. Insights-Based Recommendations
Present suggestions to the Marketing Head based on analytics to improve reach and engagement.
E. Collaboration & Task Execution 1. Team Coordination
Work closely with the Marketing Head to ensure messaging is consistent across stories and posts.
Attend weekly meetings for alignment on campaigns, priorities, and performance.
2. Task Execution During Events
Assist in recording matches, training, or events for use in reels and story content.
Ensure footage is properly captured, catalogued, and shared for editing or immediate social use.
F. Admin & Internal Support 1. Data Entry & Catalogue Management
Maintain accurate records of customer contact numbers and relevant social leads.
Manage stock entries and updates for items listed in the WhatsApp Business catalogue (note: does not include inventory control).
Ensure pricing and listings are properly formatted and aligned with brand tone.
2. Housekeeping
Organize and label social content folders and assets (e.g., story screenshots, analytics screenshots) for quick retrieval and future reference.
