Quantity Surveyor

Vista Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of quantity surveying for various projects. You will utilize your extensive knowledge in cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration. Your expertise in quantity takeoffs and cost analysis will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. As a leader, you will manage a team of 10 professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages effective communication and skill development. Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for various projects ensuring all costs are accounted for.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective budget management practices across all project phases.
Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and manage any necessary changes or variations.
Conduct quantity takeoffs, measuring and quantifying materials required for projects.
Perform cost analysis and financial evaluations to assess project viability and potential risks.
Utilize project management software to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Implement and uphold cost control techniques to monitor spending and eliminate waste.
Oversee and mentor a team of 10 quantity surveyors, facilitating professional development and promoting teamwork.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and resource allocation.
Assist in the resolution of disputes related to contracts or financial matters, acting as a key point of contact.
Review and analyze invoices and payments to ensure they align with contracts and project budgets.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to illustrate project performance and financial standing.
