Trickle Up is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our team and support our mission of empowering underserved communities. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining our online platforms to enhance user engagement and advance our initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in web development and a passion for creating accessible, user-friendly websites that effectively represent our brand. You will collaborate closely with designers, digital marketers, and program teams to ensure our web applications are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify. Convert design mock-ups from tools like Figma and Adobe XD into responsive, functional websites. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility to improve user experience. Implement tracking, analytics, and third-party integrations, including Google Analytics and HubSpot. Work closely with UI/UX designers and content teams to enhance user journeys and overall site usability. Troubleshoot bugs and perform regular updates and improvements to ensure site functionality.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Two to four years of experience in web development, preferably with agency experience. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; experience with React or Next.js is a plus. Skilled in CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify. Experience with version control systems like Git and GitHub. Solid understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Clear communication skills and familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Trello.
