We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Bidder to join our business development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bidding on Upwork and other freelance platforms to generate quality leads and bring in new business opportunities. You will play a vital role in helping the company grow by securing projects and building relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms (e.g., Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru).
- Write customized and persuasive proposals based on client requirements.
- Communicate effectively with prospects to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a high conversion rate by following up on submitted bids and nurturing leads.
- Coordinate with technical teams (developers, designers, etc.) to prepare accurate project estimates and timelines.
- Maintain and update records of bids and lead status.
- Stay up-to-date with platform rules, bidding trends, and market demands.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Online Bidder, or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding of IT services such as Web Development, Mobile Apps, Design, SEO, etc.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling proposals.
- Time management skills and ability to meet targets.
- Knowledge of tools like Trello, Slack, CRM tools (optional but a plus).
