We are seeking a full-time Marketing & Events Manager to oversee social media, event planning, administrative tasks, and business development initiatives. This is a 40-hour/week remote position ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for arts and culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and promote engaging content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok to build community engagement and grow our following.
  • Website Updates: Regularly update and maintain our Squarespace website to reflect current events, trips, and organizational updates.
  • Event Promotions: Promote events through platforms such as Meetup, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other channels to maximize outreach and participation.
  • Research: Identify B2B collaboration and sponsorship opportunities to drive partnerships and revenue growth.
  • CRM Management: Set up and manage customer relationship management (CRM) tools to streamline communication and client management.

Requirements:

  •  Gender: Female candidates only.
  •  Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Passion for Arts: Genuine interest in arts, culture, and creative expression.

Skills:

  • Event planning and event management expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  •  Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Technical Requirements: Stable and reliable internet connection, a smartphone, and a good-quality computer.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently.
  • Interest in community building, events, marketing, and small business development.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tools such as Squarespace, Mailchimp, CRM software, Canva, Google Docs, and other digital platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to grow professionally in a dynamic organization.

  •  Competitive Salary: Approx. 100,000 PKR per month (based on experience) after an initial 1-month trial period. The trial period offers a salary of 30,000 PKR.

Women of Culture was founded in 2016 out of the Founder’s personal need to connect more deeply with the arts and fellow arts-minded women in New York City and beyond. It was birthed as an antidote to the loneliness of living in a big city and as a solution for the lack of connection to our innate creativity which is so common in today’s world. We believe that the arts are the essence of our humanity; that culture is that which ties us all together; and that art has the power to hold a mirror to society and thus help us better understand and connect to ourselves, and one another.
