As the Lead STEM Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on STEM sessions and workshops. You’ll also train and guide assistant instructors, manage curriculum delivery, and ensure a positive and productive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
Lead interactive STEM classes using specialized educational kits and age-appropriate lesson plans
Prepare materials and manage classroom tools (e.g., LEGO®-style kits, robotics, science kits)
Create an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment for young learners
Mentor and support assistant instructors in daily class delivery
Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the center manager
Collaborate with the Franchise Manager and Owner for scheduling, reporting, and feedback
Assist with events, open houses, and promotional STEM workshops
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related STEM field
1–3 years of teaching or workshop facilitation experience, ideally with children
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for education and a love for working with children
Problem-solving mindset and creativity in lesson delivery
Basic tech literacy for handling educational software, lesson reporting, etc.
