Job Title: Senior Practice Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Practice Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing financial strategies, and providing expert advice to clients and will be direct in contact with Principal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee client accounts and manage all aspects of their financial affairs
- Develop financial strategies to meet clients' objectives and ensure their financial health
- Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to provide expert advice to clients
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
- Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong relationships with them
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
- Attend client meetings and provide expert advice and recommendations
- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and potential issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- ACCA or ACA qualification preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role within a practice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software
