Accounts Payable Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, booking, and validation.
- Support the setup and deployment of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes to streamline financial workflows.
- Ensure compliance with SEZ and Import-Export regulations by thorough documentation, reporting, and cross-verification, including handling Bill of Entry and import documents.
- Process and document employee expense reimbursements accurately and timely.
- Provide assistance in Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets management as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking registers related to accounting activities to support audit readiness.
- Follow up on payment processing and assist with cash reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support internal and external audit activities as required.
- Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) responsibilities and comply with applicable HSE norms.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring consistent and predictable attendance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or an MBA with a focus on finance or accounting.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in Accounts Payable, preferably within a manufacturing environment or SEZ.
- Proficiency in SAP accounting software is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, demonstrating rigor, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to fast-paced organizational changes typical of a growing company.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders and influencing discussions.
- Ability to work in an international environment, collaborating effectively with French headquarters and local management teams.
