We're looking for a strategic thinker who can drive business growth, improve supply chain efficiency, and develop strong relationships with suppliers.
The Category Manager - Detergent and Toiletries will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies for detergent and toiletries categories, including market analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive business growth, and improve supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Management:
- Develop and execute category strategies for detergent and toiletries categories, including market analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and sales data to inform category decisions.
Supplier Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiation, performance management, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement joint business plans, including category growth initiatives and supply chain optimization projects.
Procurement:
- Manage the procurement process for detergent and toiletries categories, including RFP development, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and implement procurement strategies, including category management, supplier rationalization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of category executives and coordinators.
- Develop and implement talent development plans for team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain management.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and market research.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in supplier management and negotiation.
5. Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
6. Knowledge of supply chain optimization techniques.
