Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling of repairs and maintenance.
- Allocate work to mechanics and technicians, ensuring high productivity and quality.
- Monitor workshop KPIs such as downtime, repair turnaround time, and cost per vehicle.
Fleet Maintenance:
- Plan and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles.
- Coordinate timely repairs and inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate service records and logs for each vehicle.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate workshop staff to maintain high performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
Parts & Inventory Control:
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers for the timely procurement of quality parts at competitive prices.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all work complies with local transport regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for vehicle inspections, certifications, and audits.
Cost Control & Reporting:
- Monitor maintenance and repair costs; implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare periodic reports on workshop performance, fleet status, and budget utilization.
