Essential Responsibilities:

  1. The Head of Operations shall oversee HR, Finance, Administration, Procurement, and Operations departments by establishing and optimizing all policies, processes, and procedures while providing strategic direction and leadership to the team.
  2. Proactively and effectively partake in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the organization.
  3. Develop and implement effective strategies to meet the organization’s operations targets.
  4. Provide strategic operational advice to the MD.
  5. Establish and enrich new relations for advancing the goals and objectives of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust.
  6. Enhance existing relations with governmental, nonprofit, and community organizations; identify new opportunities with prospective supporters and collaborators.
  7. Ensure operations’ compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and operational practices.
  8. Represent Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust by attending events, initiating contacts and giving presentations to public and private audiences as necessary.
  9. Supervise departmental leaders to ensure results and effective coordination with operations.
  10. Aid in the preparation of yearly budgets for operations.
  11. Help in the preparation of yearly budgets and goals for each department/section; ensure budget preparedness, implementation and compliance; ensure annual organizational objectives are met through monitoring & evaluation process on a quarterly basis.
  12. Ensure budget compliance and objectives’ attainment through quarterly analyses.
  13. Collaborate with relevant HODs to identify problematic areas within the organization and make recommendations and offer solutions to the Managing Director.
  14. Submit monthly and quarterly proposals and reports to the Managing Director.
  15. Stay informed about security, political developments and humanitarian needs that may affect AMWT directly or indirectly or may warrant intervention by the Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust.
  16. Create a positive team environment by recognizing and reinforcing behaviors and results that are aligned with Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust’s mission, core values and culture.
  17. Organize all meetings with the MD, and ensure that logistical support is provided to the MD in preparing reports, conducting research and providing requested information.
  18. Ensure staff and leadership have the skills, resources and manpower needed to achieve the organizations’ strategic goals.
  19. Perform other duties as and when an organization is in need of assistance.

The employee will not be involved in any political activity of the area or activities that can create tension/friction between employees and or community members or can earn bad name for the organization.
