Prepare patients for eye examinations and procedures.
Take patient medical history, including ocular history and any current eye symptoms.
Assist in eye medications, including dilation drops.
Maintain patient records and accurately documented results from tests and procedures.
Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment and ensure it is calibrated correctly.
Monitor patient comfort and ensure a smooth patient flow during appointments.
Assist in scheduling appointments, follow-up visits, and any necessary referrals.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of examination rooms and equipment.
