We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales representative to join our team, which focuses on the chemical and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in increasing sales for current leads, identifying new prospective leads, and driving overall growth in product sales, particularly in commodity products.

Responsibilities:

Lead Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing leads to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell products within the current customer base.

Prospecting:

  • Identify and pursue new leads within the chemical and manufacturing sectors.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and identify potential opportunities.

Sales Growth:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Industry Expertise:

  • Stay informed about developments in the chemical and manufacturing industries.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to position our commodity products effectively and address customer needs.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, with a focus on the chemical and manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with commodity products and an understanding of the associated market dynamics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, particularly within the chemical and manufacturing industries.
