Senior Accountant

We are seeking a competent and experienced Senior Accountant for our fertilizer manufacturing company located in Khanewal, Pakistan. The individual will play a vital role in managing the financial health of our organization by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements and compliance with the corporate tax procedures of Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
Maintain the company's financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in accordance with the legal requirements.
Supervise all regular accounting processes such as monthly closings and annual budgeting.
Perform regular internal audits to ensure compliance with the established accounting standards and procedures.
Evaluate and oversee the company's capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx), ensuring alignment with the company's financial objectives.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
Prepare and present regular financial reports, statements, and analytics to the management.
Coordinate with the external auditing agency and manage the audit process.
Oversee and sign off on expense reports, ensuring that expenses are accurate and in compliance with the company's policy.
Stay updated with the industry's latest trends and best practices.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CMA or ACCA is highly desirable.
Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including corporate tax procedures of Pakistan.
Strong knowledge of financial software and MS Office.
Excellent mathematical skills, knowledge of data analysis, and forecasting methods.
Understanding of data privacy standards and regulations.
An ability to understand and manipulate complex financial models.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
