Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management: Develop, implement, and manage strategies to optimize supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services at minimum cost without paneities , detention, demurrages and late charges -.
Warehouse Oversight: Supervise inventory management, including tracking for quality feed back from production , to make decision for purchasing from vendors supplying good quality -
Transportation Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, negotiating contracts with carriers and ensuring cost-effective, reliable delivery schedules.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate logistics staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
Process Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the logistics process, implementing continuous improvement practices.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, service providers, and other partners to ensure smooth operations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all logistics operations adhere to relevant laws, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analytics to track performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and make informed decisions to improve logistics performance.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related role, with leadership responsibilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS), MS Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, transportation logistics, and industry best practices.
