Responsibilities

  1. Contacting customers who have overdue invoices, either by phone, email, or letters, and following up consistently.
  2. Keeping track of overdue payments, sending out reminders, and escalating cases when necessary.
  3. Working with customers who are struggling to pay, setting up installment plans or deferred payments when necessary.
  4. Addressing any disputes or issues with invoices or payments, liaising with the relevant departments to resolve these matters promptly.
  5. Maintaining good relationships with customers to encourage timely payments and reduce the likelihood of disputes.
  6. Communicating clearly and professionally with customers to remind them of their obligations and manage expectations.
  7. Encouraging customers to sign up for services or take advantage of promotional offers.
  8. Maintaining accurate customer information and updating databases as necessary.
  9. Assisting in generating reports on customer satisfaction, complaints, or other key metrics.
  10. Collaborating with sales and finance departments to align on credit policies, payment issues, and customer accounts.

Qualification and experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
  • Minimum 02-year experience in field of accounting or administration or debt chasing or in similar capacity.
