We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team, specializing in residential construction and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, managing, and overseeing all phases of residential construction projects—from concept to completion—ensuring structural integrity, compliance with regulations, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and supervise residential construction projects (villas, apartment buildings, housing societies, etc.).
Develop construction drawings, layouts, and structural blueprints in collaboration with architects and design teams.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs and prepare detailed project budgets and schedules.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.
Solve technical problems and recommend design modifications as required during construction.
Conduct soil tests, site surveys, and structural analysis to assess feasibility.
Prepare progress reports, documentation, and maintain accurate project records.
Manage permits, documentation, and liaison with government authorities for approvals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential construction projects.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, and MS Project.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and local building regulations.
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site and in the office.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with sustainable/green building practices.
Familiarity with quality assurance and cost-control systems.
Ability to manage multiple residential projects simultaneously.
Understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) integration in residential structures.
