We are seeking a skilled and proactive Assistant Manager – Audit to join our finance and audit team. The successful candidate will have experience in the automobile industry and be proficient in using Oracle ERP to conduct audits and analyze financial data. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can manage internal audits across various functions, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and drive continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute internal audits covering finance, operations, inventory, and procurement functions. Utilize Oracle ERP to efficiently access, audit, and analyze financial and operational data. Assess internal controls to identify gaps and recommend improvements that enhance process integrity. Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks. Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions. Support external audits and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Identify opportunities for cost savings and promote operational efficiency throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of internal audit processes and financial reporting standards is essential. Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems is mandatory. A solid understanding of industry-specific risks, particularly within automotive operations, is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are important for effective collaboration and reporting. The ability to work independently while managing deadlines efficiently is expected. Educational qualifications should include CA (Finalist), ACCA, ACMA, or an MBA in Finance.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Additional certifications in internal auditing or risk management will be considered an advantage. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant audit experience in the automobile or manufacturing sector. Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems is essential to perform the job effectively. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs125,000.
