Associate Business Analyst, Abandoned and Unclaimed Property

Ryan is looking for an Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Associate Business Analyst to work closely with consultants and managers based in the US. The role focuses on extracting data from PDF documents and transforming large datasets using tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL. The successful candidate will leverage automation techniques to enhance the efficiency of data extraction and transformation processes. This position supports business operations by ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate a positive team atmosphere and actively engage with stakeholders to manage workflows efficiently.
- Continuously seek training and guidance from senior team members on Abandoned and Unclaimed Property (AUP) tools and tasks.
- Provide regular updates on work progress to stakeholders located in India and the US.
- Perform quality assurance checks as needed and complete additional assigned duties.
- Extract and download information from various sources, analyze the data, and prepare summary reports.
- Conduct data transformation and cleanup activities following established business rules.
- Reconcile data values across multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Generate reports that align with business requirements and assist with documentation and AUP claim-related processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in web research and data analytics.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and internet navigation.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solid grasp of web research techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage stressful situations.
- Proven multitasking skills and adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Proactive communication and strong organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in project planning is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Flexible work hours with shifts currently scheduled from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST; willingness to work any shift as needed.
