We require a skilled Web Developer to join the new office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, a passion for creating engaging user experiences, and the ability to monitor and optimize websites for performance. He or she will work closely with a talented team of graphic designers, content creators, photographers and other developers to deliver very high-quality web sites that meet the high standards of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create visually appealing and functional websites using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other technologies. Ensure responsive design across various devices and browsers.
- Front-End: Implement and enhance user interfaces based on design specifications. Optimize web pages for speed and performance.
- Back-End: Develop and maintain server-side applications, databases, and APIs. Ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet the company's high expectations.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility, functionality, and performance. Address and resolve any technical issues.
- Maintenance: Perform regular updates, enhancements, and maintenance on existing websites to ensure they remain functional, secure, and up to date.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web development processes, code, and system functionalities.
- Experience Shopify Web site developer. Customization knowledge is essential.
- Experience of developing B2B websites
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails).
- Knowledge of web development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members to produce high standards.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with server management and deployment processes.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
