- Design and simulate solar structures according to actual environmental conditions
- Conduct structural stress analysis, wind analysis, and material property analysis to optimize solar structure design
- Utilize topology optimization and generative design to create efficient solar structures
- Develop planning documents necessary for PV system installation, including load, efficiency, and mechanical and electrical design
- Design PV system layouts that meet code compliance and aesthetic requirements
- Select and size PV system components and wiring according to system specifications
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to solar energy and structural design
