GRN Officer

The GRN Officer plays a crucial role in the supply chain and inventory management process at Bachaa Party. This position involves verifying the accuracy of goods received against purchase orders and maintaining detailed records of all deliveries and receipts. The GRN Officer is responsible for ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and organized, thus enabling smooth operations within the warehouse. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions necessary for data management and analysis. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Given that this position does not involve managing a team, the focus remains on individual performance and collaboration with other departments to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Verify the delivery of goods against purchase orders and suppliers invoices to ensure accuracy.
Inspect the quality and quantity of goods received to maintain strict quality control.
Record all incoming goods into the inventory management system to support accurate tracking and reporting.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for all received items and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Maintain organized and precise records of all receipts, deliveries, and GRNs to facilitate easy access to information as needed.
Ensure that all received goods are stored correctly and moved to their designated inventory locations efficiently.
Report any damaged or defective goods to the appropriate department promptly to initiate resolution procedures.
Address issues with shipments or invoicing discrepancies immediately to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
Utilize advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, to analyze inventory data and generate reports.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and enhance inventory management practices.
