A full-time Assistant Manager of Operations is needed for a firm, who has leadership qualities along with excellent management skills to manage and run the company’s day-to-day projects, written communication (in English) skills to interact with potential international clients, flexible and dynamic approach to work, a good understanding of English language to do quality check for all of the client submissions and strong willingness to learn new things.

Must have access to a good internet connection, a laptop or Desktop PC and a smartphone – to access all company’s, freelancers’ and clients’ queries via mobile apps.

Salary: Competitive

Contract type: Full time – permanent, subject to availability of role and the successful completion of the probation period (6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee freelancers to ensure that they are doing their job and keep company software up to date.
  • Work independently with little support
  • Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of the business website and make recommendations for improvement where needed.
  • Respond to potential clients’ queries on the website (live chat), Facebook page and profile, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and email, and be available on the mobile chat app, WhatsApp, and social media to answer any queries. Assistant manager is expected to install all relevant social media and chat with clients on his/her smartphone.
  • Prepare and send timely quotes/invoices/receipts for potential and existing clients
  • Keep track of time for all the projects assigned to freelancers, web developers, SEO experts and remind them when necessary.
  • Send the project for a quality check to the designated person before passing it onto the client.
  • After a quality check, receive full payment before releasing the final project to the client.
  • Work closely with the company Managers and keep them updated regularly without the need for their reminders.
  • Monitor search algorithms set by search engines and audit the company’s and clients’ websites.
  • Coordinate with freelancers/developers/SEO experts to get to know about their availability and suitability for projects.
  • Recruit new freelancers/staff where needed.
