We are a digital media platform specializing in high-quality content on Islamic finance. We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Female Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth by securing sponsorships, advertising deals, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of digital media sales among the banking, business and media sectors with a keen knowledge of the Islamic finance industry, enabling them to connect with a sophisticated, industry-focused audience and deliver tailored solutions that meet both client objectives and our revenue targets.

Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Sales Strategy

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new sponsorships, advertising opportunities, and partnership deals from Islamic financial institutions, banks, Takaful providers, fintech companies, and industry associations.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with our annual revenue targets and growth objectives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry players and potential advertisers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication, managing expectations, and fostering client loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with the content and digital teams to create customized, co-branded content opportunities (e.g., expert interviews, webinars, sponsored segments) that resonate with our audience.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the Islamic finance and digital media landscape.
  • Use market insights to tailor sales pitches and propose innovative advertising solutions that leverage our unique value proposition.

Proposal & Campaign Development

  • Develop persuasive sales proposals, pitch decks, and campaign briefs that clearly articulate the benefits of partnering with us.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sponsored content and advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and brand standards.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track sales performance against targets, keep records of clients data and communication in CRM, preparing regular reports and forecasts for the management team.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess the performance of sponsored campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to optimize revenue and engagement outcomes.

Industry Networking & Representation

  • Represent us at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Leverage existing relationships and forge new ones with thought leaders and decision-makers in the Islamic finance sector.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or courses in digital marketing or media sales are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably within digital media, advertising, or financial services.
  • Prior exposure to the finance and Islamic finance industry or a strong understanding of Shariah-compliant financial products is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in digital sales tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity, especially in discussions related to Islamic finance principles.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Client Acquisition

  • Secured of new sponsorship deals or partnerships.

Market Penetration

  • Increased repeat clients and % overall client retention by maintaining strong relationships.

Networking & Brand Representation

  • Participation in at least 4–6 industry events or conferences annually and contribution to increased brand recognition in the Islamic finance sector.
