We're seeking a Virtual Front Desk Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients, offering seamless and professional support.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming patient calls and messages in a courteous, timely manner
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments via outbound calls
Conduct virtual check-ins and pre-appointment verifications
Verify insurance information and collect necessary documentation
Triage non-urgent requests and route messages to the appropriate clinical team
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Support day-to-day front desk tasks in a remote environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a front desk/US Call center.
A medical front office or healthcare customer service role will be preferred
Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Athenahealth, DrChrono, Kareo)
Strong communication skills—verbal and written
Comfortable with video conferencing, secure messaging, and VoIP platforms
Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy best practices is optional
