You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our vendor network. This dynamic position requires an individual with a proven track record in business development, vendor management, and a keen understanding of industry trends. The successful candidate will be responsible for vendor hunting, onboarding, and maintaining strong relationships through daily physical meetings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Hunting:

    • Proactively identify and pursue potential vendors to enrich and diversify our supplier base.
    • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, identify emerging opportunities, and maintain a competitive edge.
  2. Contacting and Onboarding Vendors:

    • Initiate and maintain effective communication channels with potential vendors, articulating the value proposition of our company and cultivating strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration between the vendor and our organization.
  3. Physical Meetings on a Daily Basis:

    • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with potential and existing vendors to build and strengthen relationships.
    • Represent the company professionally during negotiations, discussions, and collaborative sessions to secure favorable agreements.
  4. Vendor Management Know-How:

    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of vendor management best practices and industry standards.
    • Implement strategic vendor management approaches to optimize relationships, enhance performance, and ensure alignment with company standards.
  5. Experience:

    • Bring a minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in business development and vendor management within the relevant industry.
    • Showcase a successful track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a competitive business environment.
  6. Communication Skills:

    • Exhibit exceptional communication skills to establish trust and credibility with potential and existing vendors.
    • Effectively articulate the company's vision, values, and goals, fostering positive and enduring relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in vendor hunting, onboarding, and management.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscapes.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing business targets.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing relevant business development tools and technologies.
