The Finance Business Partner plays a pivotal role within the DBS IDT Team, focusing on driving financial discipline and cost management for DBS Functions. The position entails delivering financial insights, supporting cost initiatives, and improving cost management and reporting processes. Key responsibilities include leading and reporting on budgets, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial processes, and offering insightful business advisory. The role also emphasizes collaboration, commercial finance expertise, and adherence to governance standards to optimize cost efficiency and business outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Drive the budgeting process for DBS functions, challenging and scrutinizing variances.
• Consolidate and analyze DBS budget forecasts, ensuring consistent reporting and commentaries.
• Provide end-to-end finance business partnering services, including monthly actuals analysis and regular stakeholder meetings.
• Manage financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance & governance, aligning with business objectives.
• Lead headcount costs with HRBP and ensure accurate cost tracking in systems like BPC and Planisware.
• Offer strong reasoning and analysis to support business initiatives.
• Design and implement improvements to finance processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group requirements, adhering to governance standards.
• Build financial and commercial awareness within the DBS Functions community.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified accountant pursuing or holding professional accounting accreditation, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in leading a finance department within an MNC, with a strong background in commercial finance.
• Proficiency in SAP and BPC or equivalent experience; familiarity with Power BI is preferred.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under time pressure.
• Demonstrated influencing skills, offering objective viewpoints supported by robust justification.
• Experience in managing tasks independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Skilled in motivating, mentoring, and directing young, dynamic teams.
• Demonstrated dedication to self-development and continual learning.
