We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Receiving Loader / Store Helper to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will assist in the efficient and accurate unloading, sorting, and stocking of merchandise in our store. This role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory is well-organized and readily available for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Merchandise:
- Assist in unloading trucks and containers of incoming merchandise.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and invoices.
- Inspect received items for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management.
Sorting and Organizing:
- Sort and categorize merchandise for easy access and stocking.
- Ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keep the receiving area and stockroom clean and organized.
- Dispose of packaging materials and waste in accordance with company policies.
