Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain records of goods received and dispatched.
- Perform regular stocktaking and audits to check for discrepancies.
- Oversee the receipt of goods from suppliers or vendors.
- Check the condition and quantity of received goods against purchase orders.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct items are loaded.
- Coordinate deliveries and shipments with logistics teams.
- Optimize space and layout to maximize storage efficiency.
- Assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Conduct training for staff on safety protocols and equipment usage.
- Implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of goods stored, moved, and dispatched.
- Prepare reports for management on inventory status, stock levels, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all required paperwork (e.g., delivery notes, inventory lists) is properly completed.
- Communicate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and supply chain management.
- Assist with the preparation of orders and ensure the timely dispatch of goods.
- Monitor and schedule maintenance and repairs for warehouse machinery.
