B.Com, BBA, MBA-Finance, ICMA, ACCA, BS Honors- Finance, M.Phil.

Experience

Fresh - 1 Year or above

Technical / Required Skills:

Good Skills of MS Office and Basic Skills of Accounting Software results-oriented mindset.

Soft Skills/ Attributes:

Strong accounting and basic taxation knowledge and collaborate

Financial Recordkeeping and Reporting:

  • Document and record all organization income, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Enter income and funds by donor and program, maintaining accurate records.
  • Present income and expenses report by donor, program, and region.
  • Provide reports to the Head of Finance & Accounts as required.
  • Prepare audit-ready records following finance policies.
  • Safeguard assets, supplies, and important documents.
  • Manage capital expenditure payments and ensure proper modules.
  • Verify and document payments per finance SOP.
  • Enter payments, deduct taxes, and ensure compliance.
  • Document Computerized Payment Receipts and tax records.
  • Ensure timely submission of records for monthly returns.
  • Reconcile ledgers daily and ensure error-free monthly documentation.
  • Coordinate reconciliation of assets, accessories, and supplies.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.

Operational Support:

  • Manage letterheads, cheque books, and stamp papers securely and maintain proper stock of financial instruments.
  • Process day-to-day staff payments and maintain payment log.
  • Adjust employee advances in the accounting software.
  • Ensure proper filing of all vouchers and organize vouchers with chronological filing.
  • Prepare cheques for utilities, rents, and relevant payments (if any).
  • Process payroll and maintain relevant records.
  • Assist in organization budgeting.
  • Review and adhere to department budgets.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in statements.
  • Attending finance meetings and assist in reporting.
  • Assist in creating financial reports.
  • Coordinate inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Validate costs of goods sold and apply overhead costs.
  • Reconcile transactions and develop product knowledge.
  • Resolve financial disputes from teams.
  • Work on process constraint analyses.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by HOF.
