Inventory Management:

Maintaining accurate stock levels of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts through regular stock checks and cycle counting.

Monitoring stock levels to identify potential shortages and initiate timely procurement actions.

Implementing inventory control systems to optimize storage space and minimize stock damage.

Managing stock rotation to ensure first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles are followed.

Receiving:

Overseeing the receiving process, including verifying quantities and quality of incoming deliveries against purchase orders.

Managing the loading and unloading process to maintain safety standards.

Warehouse Operations:

Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse layout, ensuring proper labeling and storing of materials.

Implementing and enforcing warehouse safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials.

Supervising the warehouse team, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

Generating and maintaining accurate inventory records, including daily stock reports, purchase orders, and dispatch documents.

Preparing periodic inventory reports for management, highlighting stock discrepancies and potential issues.

Maintaining proper documentation for compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Cost Control:

Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures related to inventory management, such as optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
Monitoring warehouse expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction.
