Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at Code 9 Technologies, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our applications and services. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a deep understanding of DevOps best practices and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Required Proficiency:

Kubernetes: Proficient in managing Kubernetes clusters, including load balancing and container orchestration.
Docker: Strong knowledge of Docker containerization and best practices.
Helm: Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
GitLab: Proficient in using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines within a cluster.
AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS Cluster, EC2, IAM, Elastic Kubernetes Service, Elastic Computer Cloud, IAM, and Cognito.
Mobile App Deployment: Experience with deploying, releasing, and publishing mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms.
Operating Systems: Proficient in Windows, Apple, Linux, and Unix operating systems.

Experience with:

Real-Time Sockets: Familiarity with real-time socket communication protocols.
MongoDB Server: Experience in managing and maintaining MongoDB databases.
Redis: Proficiency in Redis for caching and data storage.
Linux/Unix: Strong background in Linux and Unix systems administration.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for our applications.
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalability and performance.
Maintain and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments.
Monitor and improve system performance, security, and reliability.
Automate routine tasks and implement infrastructure as code.
Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
AWS certifications are a plus.
