This role ensures seamless coordination across sourcing, inventory management, sales strategy, and performance analysis to maximize revenue and profitability. The Team Lead plays a critical role in guiding the team to execute strategies, solve challenges, and maintain relationships with suppliers, while meeting organizational goals and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:

    • Supervise and mentor a team of Amazon wholesale experts.
    • Set team objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
    • Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with Amazon policies and best practices.
  2. Wholesale Operations Management:

    • Oversee the sourcing and procurement of wholesale products, ensuring quality, pricing, and supplier reliability.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and build long-term relationships.
    • Ensure accurate inventory forecasting and order management to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  3. Sales Strategy and Optimization:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the wholesale model on Amazon.
    • Monitor product listings, keywords, pricing, and advertising to maximize visibility and sales.
    • Stay informed about Amazon’s algorithm changes and marketplace trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, return on investment (ROI), and conversion rates.
    • Analyze market and competitor data to identify new opportunities or challenges.
    • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure adherence to Amazon’s policies, terms of service, and legal requirements.
    • Manage risks related to account health, intellectual property rights, and product compliance.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to streamline operations and support business objectives.
    • Coordinate with customer support teams to address inquiries and complaints effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Amazon wholesale or e-commerce operations.
    • Proven track record in team leadership or managerial roles.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, inventory management systems, and advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon Advertising).
    • Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel, Tableau, or other reporting software.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications (preferred): Amazon Advertising Certification, Supply Chain Management Certification, or similar credentials.
