Head of Supply Chain

The Head of Supply Chain at Confiance is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all supply chain operations within the organization. With a wealth of experience in the FMCG, Retail, and Food Manufacturing industries, the individual in this role will develop and implement strategic plans and processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness throughout the supply chain. Leading a dedicated team of eight individuals, the Head of Supply Chain will drive initiatives for demand planning, system automation, and forecasting, ensuring that the company meets customer needs while managing costs. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex supply chain dynamics and instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy to align with the company's business goals.
Lead and manage a team of eight supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
Oversee demand planning and forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels, meet customer satisfaction, and minimize wastage.
Implement system automation processes to streamline supply chain operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve accuracy.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to optimize procurement and distribution processes.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations and report findings to upper management.
Foster strong collaborative relationships with other departments, including marketing and sales, to ensure alignment on product demand and supply capabilities.
Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to anticipate changes and adapt the supply chain strategy accordingly.
Manage budgetary considerations related to supply chain initiatives and resource allocation.
