Solar Site Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Site Engineer to lead our solar installation projects from start to finish. This role involves conducting thorough site surveys, overseeing installations, managing contractors, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities:

Site Assessments:

Perform detailed site assessments for solar installations, evaluating site conditions and identifying potential challenges.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and limitations.
Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from site assessments, outlining material requirements, labor, costs, and project specifications.

Project Supervision:

Supervise third-party contractors during solar system installations, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, quality standards, and timelines.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project flow.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Installation Expertise:

Provide hands-on support and expertise for solar system installations when required.
Guide and assist the installation team to ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.

Quality Control:

Ensure completed installations meet performance standards and are in line with project requirements.
Conduct post-installation inspections and create detailed reports to confirm project completion.
Address and resolve any issues found during inspections in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in solar project installations or similar industries.
Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, project management, and site supervision.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
