Design Engineer I

Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and verification infrastructure for complex IPs, sub-systems, and SoCs. Design and implement verification environments using the UVM methodology. Create reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards to ensure thorough and robust verification. Drive functional coverage closure by applying coverage-driven verification techniques. Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and Design-for-Test (DFT) teams to maintain design quality and ensure verification completeness.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/ME/MTech) or an equivalent qualification. Between 2 to 7 years of experience in design verification, with a focus on high-speed interfaces such as UCIe, PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, and NVMe. Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM for developing testbenches and test cases. Proven experience in verification at the IP, sub-system, or SoC level. Familiarity with bus protocols including AXI, AHB, and APB. Proficiency in industry-standard verification tools used for simulation and debugging. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Effective communication abilities to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
