- Planning and Coordination: Collaborating with clients to understand their brand and product, planning the photoshoot (including props, style, and angles), and ensuring all creative and technical requirements are met.
- Capturing Images: Shooting various angles and perspectives of the product, including close-ups of details and lifestyle shots that demonstrate the product in use.
- Following Amazon Guidelines: Adhering to Amazon's image requirements, including background, resolution, and size specifications.
Editing:
- Post-processing: Adjusting exposure, color balance, sharpness, and other elements to enhance image quality and consistency.
- Retouching: Removing blemishes, imperfections, or distracting elements while maintaining a realistic representation of the product.
- Cropping and Framing: Ensuring proper composition and that the product fills a significant portion of the image frame.
- Background Removal: Removing distracting backgrounds and replacing them with clean white backgrounds or appropriate lifestyle settings.
- By fulfilling these responsibilities, product photographers and editors play a crucial role in helping sellers create compelling product listings that attract customers and drive sales on Amazon.
