Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist in our Tax Consulting division. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients needing assistance with sales tax, VAT, GST, and other tax-related issues in the e-commerce space. Your ability to explain complex tax regulations in a simple and friendly manner will help our clients stay compliant and confident.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, phone, and live chat.
Guide clients through tax registration, filing processes, and compliance requirements for various regions.
Collaborate with the tax consulting team to address client-specific tax concerns or escalate technical issues.
Help customers understand platform tools related to tax reporting, calculations, and automation.
Document client interactions and contribute to building a robust knowledge base.
Assist with onboarding and training for new clients using our tax compliance services or software.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in customer support, ideally within e-commerce, fintech, or tax consulting.
Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce).
Familiarity with sales tax, VAT, or GST concepts is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Multilingual abilities are a bonus.
