The Business Head for Retirement Solutions at EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is a key leadership position responsible for spearheading the companys strategic direction in the retirement planning domain. In this role, you will oversee the design, management, and growth of comprehensive retirement solutions, including both Takaful and conventional products. Your objective is to establish EFU Life as the market leader in retirement planning, focusing on customer-centric solutions that meet diverse financial needs. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure innovation and market growth while leading a committed team of four individuals. Your strong leadership will drive strategic planning initiatives and foster essential relationships with government bodies, corporate partners, and financial institutions to enhance retirement planning awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies that align with EFU Lifes long-term objectives, transforming the retirement solutions offering into a market leader.
  • Identify market opportunities to expand the retirement business and establish EFU Life's presence and reputation within this essential domain.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with government bodies, corporate organizations, and financial institutions, proactively promoting retirement planning and pension schemes.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze growth KPIs, ensuring the retirement vertical achieves desired performance outcomes.
  • Lead the creation of innovative retirement products that address varied customer needs, ensuring flexibility and customization in offerings.
  • Refine product offerings continuously based on in-depth customer feedback, competitor analysis, and market trend evaluations.
  • Initiate and drive educational campaigns aimed at raising awareness of voluntary pension schemes, particularly across Takaful and conventional segments.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create targeted campaigns focusing on financial literacy and retirement planning for corporate entities, individuals, and underserved populations.
  • Actively represent EFU Life at regulatory, corporate, and community events, positioning the company as a thought leader in retirement solutions.
  • Utilize digital marketing strategies to effectively engage younger demographics, promoting early retirement planning initiatives.
  • Craft tailored sales strategies that cater to the specific needs of corporate, retail, and digital channels, maximizing client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Form partnerships with financial institutions, fintech platforms, and community organizations to broaden the distribution network of EFU Lifes retirement offerings.
  • Equip the salesforce with essential tools and training to optimize client engagement and ensure successful onboarding experiences.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, driving retention and brand loyalty through exceptional service.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory bodies, such as the SECP, to ensure compliance with regulations and actively influence policy development.
  • Serve as a representative of EFU Life in industry coalitions and working groups focused on retirement and pension initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including industry leaders, to support the formalization and expansion of the pensions market in Pakistan.
  • Streamline onboarding processes, contribution management, and claims processing workflows for all retirement solutions offered by EFU Life.
  • Drive automation in operational processes, ensuring scalability and enhanced customer satisfaction at every interaction.
  • Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics to foster trust and loyalty within the retirement solutions segment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with AML regulations, Shariah governance standards, and SECP guidelines in the management of retirement products.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics related to revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention rates, providing actionable insights for strategic improvement.
  • Maintain real-time dashboards for performance monitoring and generate comprehensive quarterly reports for senior management to assess progress.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, tracking advancements within the retirement vertical to identify gaps and leverage strategic opportunities for enhancement.
