We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate and maintain production machinery in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment runs efficiently, perform quality checks, and adhere to safety standards. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in fiber optic cable or cable manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor machines to produce high-quality products.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of machine operations, maintenance, and production output.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation is a plus.
- 1+ year of experience as a machine operator, preferably in fiber optic or cable manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical manuals and operate complex machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
